My good friend Champa once told me that love is in the music, and there isn’t a day goes by that I don’t think about how right he is. I’d been taking a break from playing out recently, and I was about ready for that to be over with. So when I had the chance to travel to the city of love, I knew I’d have a chance to find the inspiration I needed.
And did I ever. From the second I stepped off the plane I could feel the energy coming from the city and the people in it. It was an incredible weekend of parties, wandering around, and record shopping. And finally, after a much-delayed decompression, I have a new mix for you. Enjoy!

DJ Mix: Reprogram Non-Stop 002
Hello, friends. I think I’ve doubled the number of mixes I’ve made over just the past few months! Motivation abounds.
I have a treat in store for you! John Calero from Reprogram commissioned a mix from me for his podcast; it’s mostly recent stuff from my playlist, but it turned out to flow really well. If February’s PING mix could be considered twisted techno, then this is something like sexy house music, given less mainstream definitions of some of those words, including tracks from my friends Champa Moore and Andrei Morant (as Jack Mackrel).
